Coming to DVD from Time Life is a timeless look at one man’s legacy of the holidays with BOB HOPE: Hope for the Holidays.

Everyone knows there is no place like home for the holidays and it is sung each and every year. One place that might be the exception is Bob Hope’s home with wife Dolores and his family. From December 1950 with The Comedy Hour, Hope took the holiday’s seriously bringing love and laughter into our homes.

Each and every year Bob Hope would invite friends from entertainment and sports to celebrate as only he could. Putting them in hilarious situations it just made all of them responsible for putting a smile on our faces during the holidays.

That is what is fantastic about the Time Life BOB HOPE: Hope for the Holidays. It is a time to revisit some of the best comedy ever in an era where holidays were not complete without Bob Hope. It’s nice to be able to say ‘oh how I miss…’ because with this DVD you don’t have to miss anything ever again.

Red Skelton was a comedian that made me laugh week after week. I loved the way he spoke to a crowd with such delightful expressions. My mother introduced me to Bob Hope and his brand of comedy so imagine my delight when these two icons of comedy get together for the holidays.

Time Life has brought this never before released anywhere classic collection of the series to fans. For more of what Time Life has to offer fans of classic television visit www.timelife.com.
